Your the only one who's being so persistent in this matter. K I stole em nobody cares, people have their opinions good for you for having one. No I won't delete the thread, I'm allowed to post and share my thoughts on a forum. Again that's what a forums for. Also deltwing the thread would only do you a favor, no one else here on this thread is as butt hurt as you.

One of my teachers & I watched the Lord of the Rings & smoked a gram of weed together—and I still know that yanking lost items is unethical. You are seriously deluded if you think that the Lost & Found is some "old school" way of retrieving lost physical property—or that the system of support for lost property has magically degenerated in 10 years. Go preach your geezer beliefs on someone else

Can't really take this seriously given the starting two sentences but I never said it was ethical I just said it happens, there's a difference.

People do steal from the lost and found its happened to numerous friends I have and numerous other people too, all I'm doing is stating a fact.

The fact that there is no way to verify who owns the lost items so some people can easily just go and claim something belongs to them when it doesn't, which happens pretty often.

Oh what a convenient load of BS people like to make up! Dude, I am telling you; you don't know what you're talking about; I get held to a higher standard by the universe to enlighten me & I won't go into it now, but justice isn't as wishy-washy as you're making it out to be. Like for reals. The feeling of returning something to the Lost & Found is a good feeling, and that in and of itself is enough proof to know right from wrong. The feeling of being able to go to the Lost & Found when you've lost something: It is a good feeling.

If we're gonna wage war against ISIS & the Lost & Found on these forums, then I'm stabbing each of you bitches with my trident. Zombie Apocalypse!! Baby!  

And the fact that you aren't keeping something that doesn't belong to you is better.

I used to raid the lost and found the day before everything got thrown out. I found some good stuff that I am still using today. I mug old ladies, though, so who knows.

Now this is actually pretty interesting.

If nobody comes to claim the item then sure, best not let it go to waste.

But that doesn't mean you can give the person who lost it a chance to get it back.

Keep reading it over and over and you'll understand why I mentioned it, there's been a few times you've completely misinterpreted what I've said but I don't care enough to make a big deal out of it.
