It seems like a lot of them have a hotkey to toggle it on and off pretty quickly. As soon as I called him out he started walking normally.

Why do we need a gp to do this?
Can't just script a bot to monitor speeds? Anything over (x) gets banned.
Don't know why it would be a bot, but not a lot of gps on at night, when speedo wearers usually spar.

Because there used to be a bot/script and it would give false positives.

They used to have automated speed detection but it was wonky as hell, I don't think they need anything automated, you can just eyeball these guys

It used to be pretty rare to get a false positive 5-10 years ago.

I certainly hope you tried the report system. It isn't perfect, but it usually ends up resolving these issues. Since the nickname is there, I'll look into it (if they haven't been banned yet, hopefully they are online when I am).




You really shouldn't see staff outside of events (on their staff accounts, anyway) because it means they probably aren't doing their work.

If you report these people, online GPs do look into it. I can tell you with certainty that people are regularly banned for the behavior you described.

Yeah in my days of experimenting with different browsers, i noticed a few that would spike way above the FPS limit for graal, I think you had a thread about something similar a few years back.

I don't know how to get video screen footage on an iPhone but there's a player that joins Soul of Ninjas with a health regenerative hack, basically you hit him/her to lower health and they regain what was lost, (mind you this person's AP is 0 so he cannot regain it with food) since no admins are online to witness it, this goes out to Jarace to look at it. I've also got confirmation from Emi herself but she doesn't kick the person.  

Shoutout to Jarace for not being up his won ass and actually replying to people.  

Communicating with some staff is like talking to a robot most of the time so it's no surprise these guys run around at 150% speed all day  

TBH for me, speed hackers aren't a problem. but people running over my sword is. almost everyone becomes jigsaw when the player count exceeds 3000.
