Workout
Hi guys. What would be a good beginner workout? Currently I wouldn't say I am as active as I should be so hence the question. Currently I'm 16 if that matters.

Depends on a lot of things. 1. What are your goals? Do you want to lose weight? Gain weight? Maintain weight but cut bodyfat? Get stronger? Get faster? Improve endurance? If your goals involve looking better the first step is diet, especially if you are looking at aesthetics. Is there any part of your body that you want to work on specifically? 2. What kind of training are you looking for? Do you have weights available, if not would you be willing to put money into a gym membership? Do you have space available to work on bodyweight based exercise? 3.Do you have any idea where you currently stand fitness-wise? What is your bodyweight and height? How many pullups/dips/pushups can you do? What is your 1RepMax for Benchpress/Squat/Deadlift? What is your fastest mile time? Can you run for over 20 minutes without stopping or slowing your pace? How long can you hold the plank position? Have you ever done any exercise before? |

I would say my goal is to maintain weight but cut body-fat, maybe get stronger also. My brother has some dumbbells though. I don't have a gym close by also. Also I've never really worked out before. I've tired exercises in the past but that was a while ago.

When I get out of bed, I count that as one sit up.
