Ping issues
Hi! my ISP literally gives me 1500+ms at 11pm-3am at night can someone please explain why? I've been told my ISP is throttling not sure if that answer is correct.

Gonna need more info. Who is your ISP? What OS is your computer on? DSL/Cable/Fibre/Satellite/Tethered? Wireless or wired to your router? Post results from these: http://www.speedtest.net/ http://www.pingtest.net/ |

Call your ISP about it. Get a ping logger so you have proof for your ISP.

My last ISP did this as well, they won't stop until you dig in their ass about it and prove to them that you know what you're talking about I started using Perfgraph to monitor by ping in the system tray: ![]() There are a bunch of tools out there that can monitor and log your ping, but the phone support at your ISP will more than likely just insist that it's an issue on your end, especially if you don't live alone or if you don't use a single device |

if you can somehow provide solid proof to your isp then they might try to make it usable again, otherwise it's tough because dodgy internet is a regionwide SEA problem.
