Lets just say we have a paid graphics artist. Won't be saying what's being made right now. We also might have a few brilliant ideas for the server that won't be shared right now, but expect some major updates with Zone. Won't be any time soon though.

We have been talking over our ideas for iZone and we have come up with 3-4 major changes we want to take place. It will take a long time to accomplish but all of these changes will make iZone so much different from the other iOS servers.

I really like reading what you all have to say It makes me happy that all of you like talking about how there are ways to improve iZone, makes me feel like people really do care. Most people just say Zone has no hopes blah blah blah, which is really annoying.

Get your LAT Admin back. You won't find a better one nobody on graal does have a better leveling artist then him. The new gmap gave izone some publicity and gave some more life into the community.

He resigned on his own terms, he wasn't fired, so he will only come back if he wants to.

Of course people care about Zone! Besides the fact that the server's quality has deteriorated over the past two years and more people are noticing doesn't make people abandon it. It's the rejection of the players' want to help that compels players to abandon Zone.
Just by reading through this thread alone there are three experienced artists who are willing to improve the tileset. I'm sure that if you asked other graphics artists in the GFX subforum, they'd be happy to contribute. Honestly, there seems to be no good excuse, as far as I'm aware, as to why the tileset can't be redone.

I want to seriously organize a team of tileset revivalists for Zone. They would need to be highly skilled, and capable of producing a tileset possessing the most valuable characteristic of a level; it would need to have unity, and lastly, a long lasting vibe that defines Zone at its best. I want to pitch my ideas to their administration, and hopefully make Zone into what it never was.

 

Wonder what this paid graphic artist will come up with :o  

with the current limitations, i doubt its going to fulfill the players needs  

jesus christ is geno guns admin? this game ain't going anywhere if he is. He is dumb AF and will balance guns for spar not for actual combat. Along with the fact that he has a long history of pay2win mentality. In short, he will not evolve gameplay, its going to stay a watered down easier version of era if he stays.

So, you're saying that you want your position back despite having some unshaved peach fuzz on your upper lip? don't think so buddy  

This server is ridiculous. I have better things to do than to waste my time trying to convice the staff team, or hell, I would have tried to convince Unixmad, to do something worthwhile with Zone. Right now, the match is struck, lit, and approaching the balloon.
