Below is an approx of what each same level (just about same level), of wood and ore can earn you.
(Each will be in a case that you only earn 1 each time, not 2, I will continue to update this).

Aspen: 11 exp, 4 gralats, level required: 0+
Arcadia: 20 exp, 7 gralats, level required: 20+
Evergreen: 35 exp ,10 gralats, level required: 40+
Spikey: 60 exp, 15 gralats, level required: 55+
Fossil: 90 exp, 27 gralats, level required: 70+
Crystal(not diamond):125 exp, 36 gralats, level required: 85+

Mining: 12 rocks

Level 0 Spoiler Mining - Rock(lv 0) - Wood Pick 15 seconds 1 rock- 4 Gralats 1 Hour - 240 Rocks - 960 Gralats 22 Health each rock. 22240 = 5280 5280/500 = 11 11100 = 1100 Every Hour of Mining rock, you lose approximately 140 Gralats. Woodcutting - Aspen (lv 0) - Wood Axe 15 Seconds 1 Aspen - 4 Gralats 1 Hour 240 Aspen - 960 Gralats 21 Health each tree 21 * 240 = 5040 5040/500 = 10 10100= 1000 Every Hour of woodcutting you Lose approximately 40 gralats.*
