Events have been destroyed in ol west. Seeing as how the people in charge of ol west have taken everything fun out of doing events, they have become obsolete amongst the community. Events use to give enjoyment, This is no longer the case due to the fact that people can no longer earn hats from events (personal Admin hats especially), Items from events(went from skill based events in order to win them to only chance to not hosting for them at all), Barely anyone host events mostlikely due to the fact that giving away their own hat was an incentive for them to host aswell. Then you have one of the worse problems with the event system, the event shop, it is filled with items that are not worth the price nor the time to earn them when you could just base and get better.

Based off what was previously stated the Event system needs to be reworked to reward the people who put in the time to become good along with providing a shop that is not a joke. oh also actualy take into consideration the wants of the people playing your game... you know ... the logical source to think about when changing or asking for possible changes needed in the game.

Or hire an actual events team, as doing events isn't actually deputy's role and they don't have to do it.. its more an add on to the game not something to always play even though most want to.

I'd still love to see a Ol' Showdown kind of place and have a player ldrbd showing who's won most+who's killed most in it(ldrbd like ones in menu + maybe one in waiting room of the top3winners) so many would play and it always be there with like a 100gralat prize for win=good earning if good player.
