This is why everyone hates events.  

let me just give you a comparison that will show how stupid some of you are.

4th of July is a holiday celebrated by a country, Chinese New Year is a holiday celebrated by a country.

They are all the same as St Patrick's day, the truth is these staff are probably working on a big project that most of the community including me will either love or hate, its how the server works.

Look at the 5 guild limit update for example, anyone who isn't a total dingus who sits inside graal city bank all day would know that its good but there is always a bad bunch.

Interestingly it was originally a Christian holiday (hence the 'saint') that went mainstream as an excuse to drink. Patrick would have been irish, certainly, but the popularity is widespread. Where the heck leprachauns fit in I'm not sure.

Interesting point, however, many won't celebrate it as it happens to fall in the period of Lent, which is a time of fasting and reverence.

I was hoping for shamrock cookies... but oh well  

We celebrate Pirate Day but not Saint Patricks day? Saint Patricks day means something to people. ReD.  

They should raise awareness like before, haven't seen those in a while (ex: breast cancer, autism, and many others) so the community can stand up or help in a way.

Don't even have to supply hats just in the news "it's breast cancer awareness month, make sure to donate to a local hospital and help in your local communities".

Big as in adding 2 new hats to snowtown?
Its just because nobody is getting payed to do this work so people have little of a motive to work their ass off

"Buy gralat packs this month and 20% of your purchase price goes towards (insert needy charity here). As bonus incentive, you get a special (insert needy charity here)- themed (mount/morph/hat/etc)."

It would be tax deductible for eurocenter AND boost sales because of the feels.  

Increased player base.
Decreased gfx production rate.
Increased nexus though because they know they can overcharge for **** there.
