Check this link out. It details 10 laptops under the price of $800. They're gaming laptops though some I won't consider like #10. http://www.sysprobs.com/10-best-gami...hould-not-miss |

I've listed what I think is good enough to run those games: 1. MSI GP62 Leopard Pro-002 Gaming Laptop http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GP62-Leopa.../dp/B00ETM09LK MSI is an overall good brand for gaming computers, I've seen a couple of Gaming Youtubers who owns this but I cannot confirm that they're using MSI. It also has a nifty 1TB space which would be good if he would own a lot of different kind of steam games, and 8GB ram would also be good if he is going to plan on getting a second monitor. Spoiler
2. Surface Pro 4 This has pros and cons, the cons is that it has limited hardware space and I think you can't get it anymore with 1TB of space without getting 2,000$ the lowest it can go is 128GB of space but is pretty neat if your brother is also interested in Digital Arts while playing games. This is slightly overpriced by a couple of hundred dollars but it has more features and is kinda portable. Spoiler
3. Lenovo Z70 Gaming Laptop http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011HNT0UE/ This has a 4 hour battery life when not charging but that wont be such a problem when your brother leaves the laptop charged. But the problem will obviously occur when leaving for road trips. It's slightly cheaper on Amazon and is a good computer overall. 4. MSI GP Series GP60 Leopard Pro-825 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TI6TAJ4?psc=1 Another slightly over the budget laptop but will bring a better performance, I hope. It almost has the same specs with the Lenovo Z70 Gaming laptop, but with a different Processor, it has an Intel Core i7-4720HQ 3.6 GHz Processor. Overall I would recommend the Number 3, or the number 1 |
