I agree, it does sound like symptoms of depression and lethargy (lack of energy, feeling lazy) is part of that. It's good that you've recognized it though because some people don't for many years. I really doubt that you've lost much of your life in comparison, and if you're taking enjoyment from watching anime then it's not all bad. Still, you sound like you're looking for a change and you're better off going to see a doctor about it since they know how to deal with this stuff. It is generally cognitive based therapy (changing your mindset, forcing you to do things) though you might be prescribed anti-depressants as already mentioned. If you're looking to be more productive you could always sub Law of the Jungle for me. I can't find English subs for older eps!! |

Graal has an allure but it the game is filth. It is not what the game is supposed to be. I think a lot of people accept reality for what it appears. Graal is actually mystical spiritual platform, but Unixmad turned it into a costume shop with gladiator fights, no different than the fall of Rome. Society isn't supposed to be vane. There is a world of poetic meaning that this game should be, but Unixmad stole it so the game is like a Siren. The Spirit sings to you, but you don't know why it is unfulfilling. It sings because of who made it, and it shipwrecks because who stole it. But there is more you can do. You can realize that America itself is a lie. It is a falling Rome. Prostitutes run the show because people worship the drone ants and not the kings. Thieves run the show because they worship the cult of faux of democracy, which teaches people "what is meaningful". But when you get there, you find it is always a sales pitch that assumes people will believe in money. It's a double whammy. Money assumes itself to covertly sell itself. But there is truth, beyond all the veil. Your teachers are Capitalists, so they aren't going to admit it. They work for the system, and agreed to serve it for cash gain |

Knowing that capitalism is the devil and America is going to **** is definitely going to help with his depression, nice work.

No, my point is that Graal can be toxic. He said he has an addiction. A rational human being will tell you that dealing with what Graal is, as he is investing himself into it, and why it is appealing but not fruitless—would help in confronting a fruitless addiction. As for capitalism being evil? Yes, it is. It is more depressing to go on forced to live in a numbing Pleasantville reality and wake up at the age of 30 with $300,000 in student loan debt, wh-ring yourself out because Hollywood makes sexual predators out of everyone for a lust-buck, and existing in the shadow of parents who own a business but aren't particularly touching his soul. Graal isn't touching his soul, either. The problem is that it promises to, because it was actually built by a huge number of spiritual people. But this promise cannot be fulfilled here, and when one is hungering for soul food he must consult the poets … The philosophers. The dead. Telling him to ignore it, pretend life is normal, and to keep chugging along the same path everyone else has set out for him is WHY HE FEELS LIFELESS. It's the same lifeless spiel, with nothing different, telling him that reality is as boring as it appears when in fact reality is most certainly not what it appears. |

thanks for the good words. and yes i do have a graal addiction. ever since my best friend went back to his country, then my friend that i loved also went back to her country, ive invested more and more time on graal. so graal kind of kept me going and that was reaching 10k spar wins. now that's done, i don't have any other motivational or passionate sources. animes are awesome, but when i start watching it i pretty much have to finish it as soon as possible. it's hard to tell my parent to keep it down. they are always skyping my sister. they work 14 hours a day. they don't speak english so if they receive mails that are unfamiliar, they wake me up to translate it for them.

Like I said; Graal and its community were not created by who controls it now—in any way shape or form. It offers a short-lived inspiration, but all the original creators were pushed away to turn what they were making into a casino. Inspiration lives in me. I cannot fix Graal, because like I said it is in the hands of a casino man. But I can tell you, in my heart I see the rich landscape that it is in God's eyes. Do you read poetry? |

Zetectic it sounds like you have a few symptoms of depression. There's nothing wrong with playing games or even watching anime but in moderation but when they become your main goals you may have a problem. If you feel like your playing graal too much you should try and stop same with watching anime and replace them with other hobbies. I've also seen a few people recommend going on medication, in my opinion that shouldn't be the first step. I think I saw you post a while ago on the fitness thread, I'd strongly recommended getting [back] into lifting. Unlike other sports with lifting you can see noticeable progression relatively quickly especially for beginners and there's always new goals you can set out to achieve. In my experience people who lift are the most positive minded and humble people I've ever met, just to be the that atmosphere would be good for you. I'm sure people on this forum myself included would be happy to help if you decided to get back into exercising. Take care.
