This game is running on cry engine 3, so it's by far the best looking monster hunter game out right now. Open beta was recently released, so anyone can play the game.

If you are interested, here is a guide, just note that when registering an account, all you need to do is switch to "other type of registration", so you don't need a Resident ID, instead enter random numbers in the passport box (It works). It is a system for anti-addiction, so you need to be 18+ for your game time to not be limited.

Nvm, this game has too many issues. Mostly revolving around the server. I recently got d/c so many times, and could never complete my quests. I do not recommend downloading for now. Hopefully if Capcom ever decides to release this game for the West, then yeah go for it.

Can't wait.

I took out the old Wii I had in the closet, and hooked it up to my tv. Was gonna play Monster Hunter Tri.
Was even thinking of buying a 3ds xl... but I'll wait and see how this holds up. Would be so glad that if I could finally play some PC monster hunter.

probably won't be release soon. they prioritize MH Generation and MH Stories for the 3DS more.

never. the NX is coming next year. if they're making a new home console MH game, it'd be on the NX.
