No disrespect to Ali but there wasn't much to talk about. He was old and honestly surprised he lived as long as he did considering his condition. This was a young girl who was murdered in front of others. Not to mention she's much more relevant to this generation than Ali was.

It makes sense that there's a thread for what happened to her, if you want a thread about Ali go make one.

I agree with everything else, and I don't mean to discredit Christina's accomplishments, but there is no way this girl is more relevant than Ali. I've never even heard of this girl till this thread, Ali is famous world wide and considered by many the GOAT in fighting.

Regardless though both are very sad and their fame doesn't really change the fact that they are both cold now. RIP

I don't see a problem in asking the question, why the **** did someone allow this human piece of **** to have firearms?

If you ignore firearm rights when someone literally dies to one, then when is the appropriate time to bring them up?

Doesn't mean he's more relevant to the current, younger generation.  

You also gotta keep in mind that Ali wasn't murdered in his 20s.

You're comparing apples to oranges though. There's dramatically different social issues/less funding to control guns going on in different parts of the world.  

That map isn't true. Barely anyone in Germany owns a gun

The only reason you own a gun here is for hunting reasons. And I'm pretty sure that over 60 million Germans don't own a gun

Europe has a super strict gun laws and barely any shootings. Not sure where you pulled them from but get your facts straight

Plus an automatic gun isn't the same like a gun you have to reload 10 minutes. So that also isn't in there.

Ya I'm pretty sure Australia had some sort of ban on assault rifles/automatic weapons, which can do a lot more harm than a handgun.

Are you even reading the graph properly? It's 100% true and based on the sources cited, more reliable than some random "estimation" by a dude on Graalians... The graph shows intentional homicides, not shootings. I don't think you understand what you're looking at.

Exactly, and the US leads the world in automatic weapons... And we're still on the low end of intentional homicides per 100k. What point are you proving? Mine?

The point isn't "guns can't kill people," no **** they can. The point is that people who want to kill will find ways to do it, regardless of how accessible a gun is.

I actually did a Google search and most searches I found is a lower gun rate then yours. Most of the maps in English Google are the same simply recolored. Here for example is a gun ownership map of Germany ranging from 0-17,5% or at the darkest colour higher then 17,5%

Not everything Google spits out is the truth honey
