Email blacklisted?

Not really sure where to put this but.. This is about certain email domains being blacklisted for Graal.

Around the same time VPNs were disallowed, one of my accounts were unable to identify/log onto again. The email asking for confirmation of logging in just doesn't show up no matter how many times I try.

I was wondering if Graal blacklisted certain email domains, because I used a free mail generator site for the account in question (also wondering if anyone else has encountered this same issue).

I feel like that they're doing this to reduce the amount of "spam" accounts, I hope this gets resolved very soon.

But... why? For future reference for everyone, this is a terrible idea. Even if you don't tell anyone your email, your account can still be hijacked.

Sounds like a you problem.

People will just create spam accounts to do stupid things (troll, hack/glitch, etc).

Curious though, how does using a random mail generator help? You still have to sign in to recieve a veritication e-mail(well I think, if you don't well lol obviously it's a stupid idea), you can easily create a new e-mail in 10 seconds or less using a real service like hotmail or gmail.

Just so you guys know, if you use Gmail (and some other providers, like Live), you can manipulate a single address to register multiple accounts. Not just on Graal, but on tons of websites.

Methods that work with Gmail:

[email protected] → [email protected] - You can put a period anywhere in your username and it sends to the same inbox
[email protected] → [email protected] - You can append a plus sign and any string after your username and it will send to the same inbox (very helpful for filtering mail)

I have about 10 Graal accounts linked to a single email. I'm willing to bet this gets fixed after I post it though. Maybe.
