I saw a blob near Destiny today with a red gralat in it, and I was wandering if it was new? Ive never seen one...

When the Giant Blob gets killed, it shoots jelly with gralats everywhere. That's what you saw. Hit it a few times when you see one, and the jelly goes away, leaving the money to collect.
