Once again great timing being right before Halloween and Christmas, You could of at least given everyone a prior warning because now people are stuck with half of what they've worked hard to earn. |

but great job to dusty to come up with the initiative. at least they'll get even more richer... edit: graal is literally the only game where you spend a sh*t ton of money during christmas. while other apps provide in-game discounts to celebrate the spirit of christmas of giving and not taking, graal is literally the opposite. can't wait for dusty to suddenly decide to disable all methods of earning money during the christmas period because "it doesn't balance the money they are earning" LOL like y'all sell the same christmas tree ever year and there has been no price reduction to it. one might think that, since the tree is an item that has been recyled for so many years, that the price might be lowered, but not in graal classic! that sh*t remains the same! same with the festive mounts, man. like every holiday season y'all selling the same sh*t but just different looking, e.g. y'all sell a black reindeer in 2015 and, in 2016, y'all sell the same reindeer but now its white and its smiling!! I guess that was the player freedom Dusty was talking about :') like im not saying that you sold a reindeer like that, but i remember a few yars ago when you pulled that sh*t on the 2p spider mount that was being sold in revolution. the only difference to the spider being sold in the later year was that it looked like it was microwaved and even more depressed. like y'all should've at least put a smile to its face, after all, it was 25k more expensive than its original version heres a thought, instead of ripping us off into buying different colored mounts, hats, furniture and other ****, why not provide players the ability to customize the color of our items the way we want to. that's real player freedom. like we can literally just change the color of stripes of our character's bodies, how come we can't do that to furniture? oh right, because that would put an "imbalance" to your goals at the beginning p.s. am still waiting for Milo to pop up and start talking about planes L O L tbh, planes are boring. talk about boats now, bro :/

1) There was a goal when diving was released. Diving was tweaked until it met expectations. It is no longer matching its original intended designs. That was the motivation. 2) Nerfed it to compare values to what players were making before. Low and high point, and to see where to go from there.

But let me break this down as simple as I can. Unixmad had no input in what jobs make, or what they should make. But regardless of whether or not he has input doesn't change the fact the server needs to make a profit. What happens when it doesn't make a profit? It will not exist anymore. And let me tell you Classic doesn't make much of a sympathetic impression on Unix... do you know why? Because Classic isn't pay2win. You can tell me well this and that should happen, and maybe this should happen... but it can't and won't. What we can do, we do if it's within our control and if it's realistically possible. Yet we still try to provide Classic with updates that garner no profit at all. But what do you think Unix sees when he sees Classic? He sees a server that makes proportionately less than its sister server Era, despite having more updates. But it's easy for Era when you can sell a single gun for the same price that our most expensive item costs. Yes, a two-player mount. No you can't whine about it. Two-player mounts are literal gold sinks. That is their intended purpose. Never, ever, use a two-player mount as a basis for whether or not prices are too high. We know they're high. But while Classic has a hard time making money and Era easily sails on the prices of pay2win guns with obscene prices, Unix doesn't care. Again though, that's besides the point. Like I said earlier, Unix doesn't oversee jobs or prices. The only thing that oversees the income of jobs are the stats we have and compare to their intended purpose. So yes, while prices are sometimes nerfed, they have been buffed plenty of times before. But why does no one quote that little tidbit of knowledge in this thread? Oh yeah, because it makes them look wrong. I don't care how rich anyone gets, but I do care whether or not Classic sticks around. If something is getting nerfed, it's because trust me... there's a problem. So keep on bragging that you'll never spend a dime on the game while also whining they you deserve this and that. It'll be much better when the server is removed because it costs Unix more than he makes off of it. At least I won't have to listen to this **** anymore. |

Dusty, fix the issue later at a better time. We're aware of the issue now. Doesnt mean it has to be taken care of right away. I don't think it would make a difference with the older system in place for a little longer. This is an issue that can be fixed during the "down time" of the year. "Down time" being after Christmas and around Spring time or so.

At the end of the day they aren't making you buy anything you don't want. Learn to save your gralats to buy what you want. You don't need to have everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Can you explain what the problem was with looting? I could only make ~1.5k/hr, whereas farming would make me 2.5k. What costs more than the amount of money being thrown at iclassic? The server? I thought the game was worth millions :0? Maybe summer just took a toll on the server, because the majority had more time on their hands to farm/loot, and save up for most items? |

However I have since introduced a more specific method of tracking income for individual jobs and individual players. The flaw with this method is it's only possible to use data of currently online players... that makes it hard to gather in-depth stats over longer periods of time, but it's useful enough to really get a gauge on what the average player experiences. It would be nice to have truly detailed statistics but that's pretty much impossible. We can't keep track of how much every single player makes via every income source over large periods of time. It would be tens of thousands, for each job. The server couldn't handle it. This is why I said that this is a period of monitoring to know where to go from here. And I don't know how much the server makes. Either way I know Era does better and Classic has a hard time keeping up due to obvious differences. |
