How Limiting is my Build for my GPU?
Caved in and decided to upgrade my PC. What I'm wondering is how much of a bottleneck my build will be for my GPU ASUS Radeon RX 480 8GB Gigabyte-78LMT Micro ATX AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5ghz 8GB DDR3 RAM 1TB 7.2k RPM SATA I know everything is fairly low grade compared to the RX 480, but how much will it hold the GPU back for stuff like Overwatch and DOOM? Planetside 2 will benefit greatly from my upgrade since it's mostly CPU-bound though |

If it's done right the GPU should be its own bottleneck. Main cpu shouldnt be drawing anything.

Well I'm running an AMD FX-6300 and a GTX 970 GPU, and I reckon I get a little bottleneck but I'm still able to run everything at very high/ultra. Since you have a better GPU maybe a better CPU is needed
