Selling Loot Sepratly?

Is there a way to sell loot one at a time to Elster, or Elbow, or Error, or whatever his name is?
I have a moon rock that I want to put on display but not have the gralts for a display case.

Is this possible? Or are you forced to sell all of your loot at once?
I am aware that you can sell certain loots to certain people for more money,

Yes. I believe it is just denying his offer to sell it all at once.

Hold up the loot near Elster and he will only buy that item from you. Make sure he isn't messing around with his stash though, or he'll say "busy busy" and you have to wait until he's not busy again.

buy a display case and put the rock in it

I catalogued the prices on every item at one point. Since they started changing I stopped bothering, but this was pretty much the way to get the individual prices.

oh thought he was talking about selling one moonrock at a time instead of all of them.
But ya, selling one item set at a time takes forever because you it wont let you sell stuff when he's "busy," you can only sell stuff while he's walking; so you have to chase the bastard down and stand in front of him and tap the item button; but if you bump into him he thinks you want to sell everything.
