Initially I thought it was 2/3 on the left and 1/2 on the right so choose left side but then thought about it more.

Here is my interpretation: Getting MF and FM are the same outcome, order shouldn't matter. Therefore for the one on the left its 50% of getting one female and 50% of getting MM. (FF is ruled out since crock, therefore at least one male). Right side has 50% chance of being F or M. Therefore getting female is 50% both ways. Only way it's 2/3 on the left side is if you say that getting one male and one female (MF) is different from getting one female and one male (FM), aka you are differentiating the two frogs on the left side as two distinct individuals.

What are your thoughts?  

it's 50/50 either way. I woulda gone with the frog on the right because one of the frogs on the left side croaked, which means he was either attracting a female or warning a male to **** off. If he was attracting a female, it means the female was probably farther away (frog on the right). If he was warning a male to **** off, the male was too close to him and therefore would have been the frog right next to him, resulting in a MM pair of frogs. **** math, it's gonna get that dude killed if he really thinks he's got a better chance with the pair of frogs on the left.
