do what i am doing, instead of saving and buying a new pc for 2k, u could just buy an alienware and have a transportable pc.

This is bias as i travel to and from locations frequently.

Yeah I know the feeling, having a laptop definitely has advantages especially when moving around a lot. Once you get a PC and you're all settled in though it's hard to go back to a laptop! I did think about going back to a laptop late last year but in the end I have all this stuff ready for a PC and you can add/customise your PC in terms of hardware a lot more than a laptop. At least I can upgrade it in the future whereas the laptop is somewhat limited in that capacity.

I do still have my own laptop that I still use occasionally for light browsing or taking it else where to do work on. It's not 'high end' but it gets the job done and I prefer typing on that than my PC
