Line of NPCs at Castle

There's a line of NPCs in the throne room waiting for the king... could there be something big happening soon? Or is this nothing to get our hopes up about?

Not sure if they're going to add something, but it seems pretty cool. Noticed there's an NPC cleaning the area near the chair so who knows? I suspect the King's going to be making an appearance

When the king is sleeping the maid is always there cleaning the thone. The NPCS are not usually there though.

They should only be there when the king is there. It is common for a king to listen to problems of his subjects.

Stuff like the line of NPCs and the bells are mostly there to add life to the castle and make it seem a little more immersive.
