I meant when i got on and saw two bases removed i was about to go have another period of me being pissed off till i came on here and saw it was the base rotation yw for the idea orange btw even tho u never thanked me.

Logs on 5mins prior *takes base* wow that was easy noone there...meanwhile all that base guild have gone to base that won't be closed. Doesn't really increase competition rotation of bases just that them guild will have to move after the 4hrs or whatever. (if anything makes harder for smaller guilds this) i do agree on less bases but base rotation don't think will improve basing guilds competing-well new guilds anyway.

Base rotation could work if they show the players on the map a countdown of when the 2 bases that were closed open and a 10 min countdown could show on the map for the next two bases that close. Also new gangs were struggling just as much when they closed 2 bases.

Base rotation could work if they show the players on the map a countdown of when the 2 bases that were closed open and a 10 min countdown could show on the map for the next two bases that close. Also new gangs were struggling just as much when they closed 2 bases.

There is not a schedule, but there is an announcement ten minutes prior to the two bases closing. Which will notify you which bases will be closing.

Hey everyone!

I'm here to tell you something new we're introducing to our basing system. As some of you may know over the weekend we did a test run of closing two of our bases to see if it would increase the amount of competition. Which it in fact did and we got some pretty good feedback.

So we will be putting in a base rotation system. Where two of our bases will close for four hours. Then at the end of the four hours. They will open back up and two other bases will then take their place. We're hoping to see this increase the amount of competition much like it did over the weekend.

I was talking about messiah it would be nice if there was a timer to show when two random bases close and the other two open messiah. In game so we dont gotta keep track of exactly when the bases closed this would help nub gangs to so they dont take a base thats possibly about to close.

Thanks for that piece of info. Are you guys be locking down random bases at certain times and is it possible for a base to be locked down for more than 4 hours?  

I feel like this new base rotation has brought a little bit of spice to Ol west. This system has eliminated peacing/allies which is a big win to a lot of people. But I feel like it is not going to really change the competition aspect. There are three main gangs in Ol west right now: Silence, Thicc, and Reward. There are only 3 bases open at a time. See where im getting to. Most of the time its only those three basing, and if you look at the weekly leaderboard, excluding Atlantic becuase they have completed their 1.5k, its those three gangs getting all of the hours. I feel in order for this "base rotation" to be more effective, we should have 4 open so that other gangs that do not have a foundation in basing can also base.
