It is not just about terrorist attacks that have happened in the U.S a good majority of countries on the list are terrorism hot spots.

What would you consider American citizens having their heads cut off and shown to everyone on video? Are you not going to count it as terrorism because it didn't happen on US soil but instead has happened in some of the countries on that list?

It's a 90-day travel ban and 120-day refugee ban and there is definitely reasoning behind it, he has in the works plans to fight terrorism over there and also working on the vetting system the US currently has in place.

Surely you can see why he is not going to allow people in when he declares these kinds of changes.

I agree,look at germanstan and you'll begin to understand the reasoning behind it, its not good to generalise a population as terrorists but when shootings and bombings occur daily its understandable that one needs to go to the extreme to protect ones country.

However,Statistics show that the American muslim population has the least amount of sharia supporters,travel bans would be more effective in countries that actualy have a larger radicalist population such as the UK or France.

.In Germany, in 2016, over 1.1 milion refugees we're allowed and not one terrorist attack from one of them.These guys are just trying to find a life for themselves and for their kids and you guys just act selfish, they are in hell while you guys are on your couch watching tv.

In germany the rape rate has gone up and so has taxes due to welfare.

I don't hate immigration I just think more background checking is needed aswell as thr need to bring in people with an education as most refugees have little to no skills to bring into their new country and end up on welfare.

How do you want them to get an education if they don't even have a house or even food?!I mean it's insane, so you want to leave the others that can't even get an education but that would give anything to get one?

What's the point of pumping money to someone for an education without even being sure if they could even succeed at all.
If they can't succeed then how can you know they won't get into illegal work/stuff.

Everyone can get an education and succeed the same if they are given the same opportunities. It's because people doubt certain peoples for certain reasons that they aren't given fair opportunities, and then people claim that they have been given equal chances and it's their fault for not trying hard enough.

I'm just being human.  

The problem is that Trump hasn't specified why the current vetting system isn't adequate for what's needed in these terrorist-prone countries. I don't know if it is sufficient or not, and it seems neither does Trump. If specific problems are found and they need a temporary ban on immigration from certain areas in order to provide them time to fix the problems, then that's fine. But he just claims there might be a problem, and that immigration should be banned because of it. I honestly wouldn't even have much of a problem with that if Trump didn't screw himself over by creating minority religion exceptions to the order, along with the terrible communication and poor initial execution.

They justify the order by claiming that there's a lot of terrorism from those countries and terrorist attacks in other countries from people who originated from these 7 identified countries. That may be, but if that isn't an issue in America, then that is also a valid argument. The purpose of the order is because the immigration vetting system has cracks that are being exploited, and if you can prove that there aren't exploits being used, then there's no need for the immigration ban, no matter how much terrorism another country has.

Besides, what would he do about the water? I mean, humans have been able to cross oceans and large bodies of water like that before. Or is Trump just going to build a wall all the way around the U.S.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to sail across the Atlantic?

Anyways, it looks like the 9th Circuit Court just flipped Trump the bird and decided against reinstating the travel ban.

That wall isn't going to do **** bubkis either.  

First of all, the muslims and people from muslim-majority countries I know aren't from that list of countries, so I'm glad for that. It probably doesn't make them feel any better though. The scale of the intake of refugees has been ridiculously overstated by a lot of people, and Obama definitely had that **** in check -- he deported more people than all presidents in the 20th century combined, and he most certainly exceeded W.

What pisses me off is that domestic terrorist organizations, such as the KKK, have rallied behind Donald Trump, and have, to some effect, ridden his coattails to increase recruitment. And it's practically ****ing ignored.
