I have a Mac mini got it late 2009 it still runs fast to this day.

Although it's not for gaming, and I'm a gamer myself so what I did here is.

I bought parallels for my Macintosh so it can run windows 7 and now I can play all my games.

Mac Mini is my computer and has been since 2009 and I'm lovin it (que mcdonalds song here)

Ubuntu is an alternative version to Linux.

I have W7 with a partition to support Ubuntu as well as a Mac Book Pro.

I have a 22" iMac which came with it's own wireless keyboard and magic trackpad. At first $2,000 seemed like a lot to pay, but it's totally worth it for the speed, long life, and reliability. The only problem is, I'm a hardcore gamer and Macs absolutely SUCK for gaming due to a lot of files being encrypted beyond Macs capabilities. I can't even get a Nintendo 64 emulator for Mac, how pathetic.
Unless you want to buy an accesory for Mac that let's you run programs compatible with Windows, it's definetly not a gaming computer.

There are many accessory for Mac that lets you run programs compatible with windows, google them..
