Hate is a pretty strong word for someone who just online dates. It's like hating someone for liking a show or a hobby.

'Dating' as a joke, such as two guys who are straight irl fake dating, is different from Online Dating with a girl- or boy- somewhat seriously. If you're joking and your online other knows it's a joke, yea ok whatever have a gf irl. But if it's a joke and the other person doesn't see it that way, or you purposely don't tell them, then you're a prick.

I don't see why other people give a damn about it. It's the persons choice to choose to date online or not. The funny thing is people always try to use that against you. For example, "Get a life you loser! Get a real girlfriend!" Those insults have been repeated so much it's not even worth their breathe. I personally prefer it because it makes me happy. Who knows, maybe you'll meet up with that person later on and date in real life.

if you don't have any reason as to why someone or people should not online date, then why do you even care?  

well this is my reason- people get to close often then things happen and it sticks with you and most likely you arent going to forget it. then it actually does affect how you act and all. my point is i dont like people getting their feelings hurt or whatever

so again by your logic, dating in real life is also a big no-no. Also having close freinds ect  

i didnt say that.. it is more realistic to date people in rl because you actually get the chance to do more than just role playing. aslo here is something that people dont really think about when online dating- that they could be lying

your reason was because people get close? dont you get close in real life as well? and there is always cam chat/skype/facetime ect. who said people who date online only keep it in graal? :o
