Second HP didn't make it a year until the touchscreen decided to die. HP makes budget laptops. |

Well son get Cheaper one AMD Athlon II X2 P340 Dual core processor AMD Radeon HD 6650M 4GB DDR3 Memory (this is important u don't want a 2gb RAM piece of crap) So pretty much, get a Acer aspire 5552G When you're in the store, go into settings , press "system" and scroll down, check the GHz. If it's below 2.20 GHz, don't buy it |

Probably an ASUS not one of those lame ASUS but those gaming ASUS computers. To all those kids who still think Alienware is the best. It's just an overpriced dell computer. |

Well that HP Pavilion with the i3 I talked about earlier lasted 4 years without melting or falling apart and still works to this day. Or maybe I just take good care of my stuff? They're ****ing laptops they're not designed to withstand Armageddon.
Oh and they're expensive as **** so yeah, in this case I wouldn't buy ASUS. Stick to Acer, HP and maybe Lenovo if you can find a good deal for them. |

Lol you're acting like every HP laptop is programmed to die on you. Well I'm just saying that's not true and the ones I've used work just fine. |

Cool. Every HP laptop I've ever owned works just fine. What is your point here? That machines don't always work? |

This Lenovo Ideapad 510 has a slightly better processor and 2GB more RAM for the GPU and the price jumps almost 200 more dollars than the HP Pavilion I previously suggested. I'd rather they be budget and get the job done than unnecessarily expensive. I personally don't think its worth it but if you're so sore over your experience with HP then by all means, recommend something else instead of complaining all the time. Also stand by my post where I said don't buy touchscreen laptops. They're dumb as hell. |
