As we all know LoL is the most played pc game in the world, and of course players love this game for a reason. I personally enjoy playing this game a lot, I play on the EUW server and my rank is currently S2. At the start of this season I was Bronze 5 but, I managed to climb up to s2 and hopefully to gold before the season ends. My win rate became higher once I started playing at mid lane in ranked games, it seems easier for me to carry as a mid laner. Of course I don't always carry, I get carried sometimes too. However, i'm not sure what to add to my mid lane champions collections, I play in mid lane with: Lissandra, Brand and Diana. Most of the games I play with Lissandra. Do you guys think playing only 3 champions (at mid) is enough? Or, I should add more champions to my collection? In addition, I play as an adc sometimes with Caitlyn and caitlyn is my main champion but, I play in mid now because caitlyn is banned in 90% of my games. I also can play with Karma and Thresh as support.
I would like to know what champions you guys main and on what server you play on/your rank too. But the main question is: playing with only 3 champions as a mid laner is enough? (I can play other lanes if I get autofilled as I said before)

I don't play it super competitively, mostly just casually with friends but I'm pretty sure becoming a otp of a certain champ (if they aren't straight garbage) is a good way to climb, at least until higher ranks.  

I see, I thought it would be better to main more than one champion to counter others and get good picks in the champion select but I guess it's not important in my current rank. I will stick to Lissandra then

Absolutely.
Even some people in high elo don't counterpick.
For now, I suggest you worry about your team compositon and what your role is late.  

You're never going to climb if you think that other people are the problem. There's only one constant in every game, and that's you.  

Quit this boring game. A bad day of work is better than a good day of League.
