				 | Sparring Solution? Will most likely not get added, but I think this would be a good solution towards sparring. I'd really like to hear opinions on this, whether you spar or not. Also, would something like this make you want to start sparring? A lot of people seem to avoid tough opponents, since they don't want a possible loss I feel like ratios don't matter at this point, since it was easier to gain them before, and people noob hunt in siderooms. This affects the newer players just starting out. New sparrers will find the activity too difficult, and since their losses are permanent, then they don't bother continuing, or they might use the same tactic later on. I find that the current leaderboards aren't really competitive at all. It's more like a grind lasting 3 months. If you started early, and maintained #1, then you have an advantage over someone starting at the 2nd/3rd month. Seasonal Leaderboards More Info Spoiler

				 | A rank could have multiple divisions so (for example) purple rank wouldn't have to fight against black ranks and when a player is in a crazy streak higher ranks could fight against him but in general this idea is sick

				 | It's a good suggestion for players who likes to take care of their ratio. Most players in the leaderboard avoids sparring good players, they rather beat weak players and gain points from them at the same time. In addition, there should be something that benefits the player from streaking. In this current system I would say increase the amount of points you get based on both the players ratio you're sparring and the streak number you're on. I don't know how is that going to work on your suggested system. Personally, it's not a big deal for me since I don't really care about my rario/losses. Only reason why I do singles so it can benefit me in guild spar. |

				 | I like the match making aspect that ranks would give, but it feels a bit complex in general. It would be possible to have some kind of handicap that applied when players matched beyond a certain rank difference, granting something of a ladder aspect to the matches. |

				 | The point of sparring is that everyone is equal from the start. No matter how long they've played or how new they are. This removes that aspect of sparring. If this were around back in the day, I would have never been able to spar (and win) against Ares, Praydoh, or even Thallen (once in a blue moon.) |

				 | I have to agree with Yami. I think everyone should make their own decisions in spar and be a able to learn and adapt to beating certain opponents. If we limit players to a specific skill room then their progress will most likely become slower in learning new skills. The only way I really learned how to beat better opponents was either to spar them myself or to spectate them a lot and see how they spar. If players aren't willing to face tougher opponents and become better then that's their own problem. The players that boost off of newer players aren't helping themselves, either. Nowadays no one judges based on just stats. If you're good you're good. If you're bad you're bad. I would much rather be good with the stats I have now than be bad with large stats. I suppose I'd like it if none of the spars in the league rooms counted, as it would give players a chance to practice with players of the same skill level and not have to worry about practicing against players higher or lower than them. |

				 | Casual Room would allow you to spar against anyone Even in Ranked you could still fight your favorite sparrers, if you are close to their level The point is also to match up the top players against each other, which I believe is more fun than fighting some random person Getting the chance to fight the top players would serve as a motive, even if someone were to get black/diamond, they would see that there is plenty of room to keep improving It's not fun when you are new to spar and have this higher level player constantly following you room to room, so that they can keep gaining wins. They'll lose a lot, and give up thinking that the spar community is toxic. Most games know that's not the way it should be, and give you two options. Either Casual to fight anyone, or Ranked to get serious. |

				 | Tbh I would love to see some sort of ranked spar system , I would make me a bit more invested in normal spar, rn the only reason I spar ( which is rare as it is ) is to waste time. This results in me soaring in weird ways I do bad in to attempt to entertain my self , if I win or lose is really not important at all as there is nothing to gain from it. So if there was a ranked system which would add some sort of level of competition to 1v1 then I could see my slef and a lot of other people taking single spars a bit more seriously. This would probably also make room for improvement for many people |

Sure, I'd agree it's more fun to fight someone on your own skill level, however, I don't think that "thrill" would hold out. Eventually, people would all just move to a casual room and spar there since it's easier to win. - If you can get the same result, or better, and the method is easier - people will choose the easier method. Hands down. It's an interesting concept that needs to be expanded on before pitched as a completed idea, but then again; that's what the forums are for! | |
