Kicko is top 3 idevice gser hands down, Shiden - Dues top 15 idev and don't sleep on mex, also Noss can be amazing when he doesn't get triggered and run into every sword. I'd say that team was pretty stacked.  

Dark consistently gets the most MVPs of any idev when I practice with him
He's won 4 gsts in a row, including mixed which is an entirely different pace (don't think any other idev commenting here would do as well as he did)
More recent wins and performances in general hold more weight

darks argument was "replace me with kouji on any US team and they'd still win" but same could be said for dark, replace him with any delayer that can, at minimum, go 6-6 and 7ives would still win. As for the mixed side, they suck against delay more than most idevs do.

Not sure if US would beat 7ives because of the patience factor needed to beat them. Don't see why your trying to compare sparrers from two different eras. But anyone who is unbiased towards US/Alumni and played actively from 2010-now will tell you that the Golden Age of spar on iclassic was 2011-2013, due to the better latency and the activity in the spar community, and due to the skill based leaderboards rather than the quantity based leaderboard we have now.
I don't really understand how people can take spar competitiveness so seriously in 2017 when its the same 200 people since 2014 and nobody new has appeared

Alumni Mixed beat Memory (Talbourn's Team), SNC (Ethereal's Team), and Apostles (Prime's Team). There were some other super teams, I think, but didn't face em

Alumni idev beat Mother, Apostles, Sopa, Memory, and 5pa4
Looking at idev, I think they might have had the tougher tournament. Not sure

I remember 1 gst like nobody recorded at all, and there were some interesting match ups.

You wouldn't understand, since every team you have been in has been for your self convenience. You were diehard US and now you are diehard Aluminum (proof is your hostility towards anything comyt posts, not only on this thread but all throughout this website, which started after US died down) I understand you feel the need to defend your guild but why are you such a ****ing hypocrite???

Anyway, "most recent wins and performances in general hold more weight". This statement is backed up by what? Battle Arena's most recent supreme emptiness throughout the last 1-2 years? Have you seen the spar charts? Kaios (spar's biggest clown) is at #1 buddy, I think that fully supports the fact that GST wins, spar ratios and sparring in general is meaningless now. The golden era was late US and early Alumni.

I think you're old enough to understand that if you're gonna come and challenge what doesn't involve you, you gotta try at least and make it good.  

1v1 is pretty much dead, no one is disputing that. But I don't see how recent wins hold wouldn't hold more weight. I mean, if someone was judging how good of a sparrer you are they aren't going to use some gst you did bad in 3yrs ago to base their judgement on...they would use the most recent gst you've been in.

Besides, 1v1 is dead we all know that, but lots of teams still compete in gst and make it competitive.

shark gang wasn't competitive, male loses every gst after rimaz gets dq and they cry about godmode, azteca is overrated tbh.
All the teams you mentioned are considered "competition" for each other but they're not competition for either (7ives) team
