3,000 people died in this attack

Compare that to however many have died in all of your terrorist attacks combined since 2001, and then realize the importance of this.

You also have to realize that 9/11 caused drastic changes to the global war on terror as well as global security and travel/border restrictions, and played a role (of questionable size) in initiating the invasion of Iraq.  

Annddd theres an argument.
