I don't think the title of the movie is referencing Rey is it? They were talking about Luke. Because Rey isn't a Jedi. Wasn't tearing down the Jedi religion a sub plot of the movie? Now there's just those with an affinity to the "light" or "dark" side of the force.

Perhaps so, but Yoda says something along the lines of "you don't need a bunch of books to learn the Jedi way." I feel like that whole conflict was one of the weaker parts of the film.

I suppose your idea makes more sense, as we learned that Ben would no longer want to affiliate himself with the first order, so it seems that everyone is straying away from the old fashioned values and beliefs of the old movies.

He didn't burn them, Rey stole them (this is shown in the movie's final scene, i missed it the first time I watched it) and Yoda only set the tree on fire. When Yoda says "Rey already has all the information in those books." He isn't making some corny metaphor, he is speaking very literally. She literally has the books lol.

wouldn’t that contradict the title of the movie?

Leia, Rey, and Kylo are also force sensitive (one could argue Poe and Finn might be as well). "Jedi" simply refers to the religious order in which users of the "light" side of the force follow. Luke would be The Last Jedi because technically Rey is not a Jedi yet and it is totally up to her whether or not to rebuild the Jedi Order.

Hmmm ok wth I missed that. I have a feeling Rey will pursue building the Jedi order since they showed a child using the force in the last part before the credits. It may very well get interesting in the next film.

This trilogy seems to have much delay in the action that we've been waiting for, and I hope they compensate for it in the third film.
