When I was pking for the leaderboard a few seasons ago, I noticed alot of Brazilians hosting organized boost sessions (specifically players named Matt and Mario who ended up placing in #4 and #5 right after me). They would go find a place secluded and which had pks enabled and start a mob to boost their pks. It was a huge problem to all the other legit pkers who were going for the top of the leaderboard. Many and many of the times that admins found these places they only warped the Brazilians or disabled pks and the Brazilians would just move to another spot. Me and the #1 dude Ice reported constantly to admins mainly Glitch about this. Glitch ended up helping us get some of the Brazilians banned. I don't think many pkers know about this since they were good at hiding it or doing it in really secluded places. The dude who placed #5, Matt, ended up getting his 130k or so pks completely reset after getting caught boosting. I'd say this new system they got going would definitely help for situations like these. At the same time, not counting pks after killing the same person in a tower really does suck as stated before. They should just turn off this system inside towers as it really has no positive effects. Leaving it on in the overworld and buildings like the summer house, mini golf area, and snow arena (one of the most used spots for those boosting Brazilians) seems fine to me though.

One month later and this "fix" has done nothing but make mob-PKing/boosting much better than it was before and further cripples tower PKing. Please revert this change.

I do see the positives in this "update" but it was uncalled for and unnecessary. If admins would start looking for problems like boosting instead of waiting for these problems to be reported to them, we wouldn't need heavily flawed updates like this. Players who pk fairly do not deserve to have to play differently just because the admins probably feel "overwhelmed" with reports of things they could easily look for and fix themselves... A good start would at least be to disable this inside of towers.

PK and towering will stay dead (spar too) till the NGS comes out. By disabling guild allies this ****ed up a lot of social guilds etc. I didn’t complain about the reason for disabling guild allies because it was a preparation for the NGS. . I’m Inactive in this game so tbh I don’t know if they is/was a lot of boosting so can’t tell if that update HAD to take place before the NGS is released, just like removing the allies system and the old rewards system. All preparations for the NGS. This one may not be necessary a preparation for the NGS but the NGS should fix that. Wither pk counts or not, towering is pretty dead. You get guilds like Rekt and Reyna who don’t know what the hell they are doing lol. They mass recruit and can barely hold one tower. I have one question about this update: if you kill a specific player x times your pks won’t count when you kill that player again but, after a certain time your pks against that same player will count again right? Also regarding the sparring old update when your account gets flagged for boosting if you beat the same player x times. Does this effect your account or something? |

I wonder (as far as sparring) if the "boosting update" goes both ways. Like if you kept losing to the same person after a certain amount of times, do the losses count towards the player's stats still? Even if the wins don't go to the player who has won against the same person multiple times, I wonder if the losses go to the other one. If so, that would be really unfair and inconsistent. I guess a loss is a loss but it seems to have the effect of a tie for the person who won and the other just gets a loss. -- All of this is, of course, if losses are also not being counted upon multiple times of winning against the same player. If they are counted then disregard everything lol.

Yes they do start counting again. Im not sure how they restart. But if I go somewhere else and pk for a while, then go back again, it counts again. Not sure if its time or amount of kills. Maybe both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I am too lazy to read the entire thread, has anyone said anything about reverting it back to how it was? I would like to start PKing again, but I'd rather not if I am going to be missing out on a substantial amount of kills during hours MoD/Sardons are relatively empty.

This is really dumb, however it is a little exaggerated. It's not thatttt bad. only really happens to me if I'm pking a tower with 3-4 people. I'm pretty sure if you kill someone X amount of times , kills stop counting on that person., to reset the kill count you need to kill X amount of different people (it's definitely more than 2-3). I don't believe it's time based but not 100%. I have seen a lot more active tower pkers than usual recently, so that is a positive at least. It's much more encouraging to pk when everyone else isn't boosting |

Bumping this thread, I wanna see an official response. I would rather see the old way of the PK system (no pk disabling or anything) than what we have now. Mobs/riots were fun. I enjoyed the multiple day riots below Graal city. They were fun. If youre concerned with leaderboards, I guess I can see why you'd dislike them, but you have the same opportunity to pk there as others, so eh. Just wish Graal was like it used to be, without all the automation. It was more fun then. (In my opinion, of course.)
