Housing Particles
To begin with, good job on introducing something like this to the game. I fully support the particles, however a few problems with them has been noticed, and staff may or may not know about them. 1) Particles on PC. - It is mentioned that the particles will not work on the Facebook Client. However, when I was on the Facebook client, setting up the Sandstorm particle, it looked like a big blob of white and it was extremely laggy. This happened, even though I had all animation settings turned "off". Image: Spoiler
- Also an image of what it looks like inside the shop on PC, with all animation settings turned "off". Again extremely laggy. Image: Spoiler
Particles Below Layer 2 Furniture Also to add to this, if you look at the image within the below spoiler, you can notice that the Particles show below Furniture Layers 2 and above. Although the image was taken on PC, its the same for mobile, but slightly less obvious. Image: Spoiler
2) Going Offline. - If you go offline while inside the house with the particles and come back online, the particles will be off and will no longer be working. - To fix this, the owner is required to turn them back on. 3) Turning Particles On. - If the particles are turned on while the player is not in the House, they will not see them. - Seems to only work if the player is in the House at the time of the particles being turned "on". - Destroys the entire purpose of having the particles. Please Note: I am using the Chrome browser for Facebook and an iPhone for the mobile version. I guess if anyone sees anything different to what I have experienced they can post below.. But otherwise, these are the problems that should potentially be worked on and fixed. Also please note, I love the particles, its just a shame about these slight bugs, that I just wanted to make sure Staff know about. 4) Clicking Particle Effect Settings - When you click the Particle Effect Settings and then click back off. And then click a statue/hat display/item display (any furniture it seems with a menu) the "Apply Changes" button will not appear, so you cannot save changes to those furniture. - Does not fix if you leave house and re-enter. - Only seems to fix when you relog. - Happens on both PC and my iOS device. Images: Statue/Hat Display/Item Display Menu, before clicking Particle Settings. Spoiler
Clicking Particle Settings, this is the menu of it. Spoiler
Click back to the Statue/Hat Display/Item Display Menu. The "Apply Change Button" is gone and only returns after relog. Spoiler

I'll take a look at it tonight. The way it works, I probly should've seen some of these issues coming sooner, but it is what it is for now, and it's not an impossible fix. Thanks for letting me know about these things. I knew you'd buy them all, you hoarder. |
