3D to 2D

If you could have any 3D game in existence to be converted to a 2D game and any 2D game converted to a 3D game what would they be?

My choices:

3D to 2D: Majoras mask
2D to 3D: Graal

Graal 3D was actually a project but it has been abandoned. This is all I could find about it:

That would have to be made by a huge gaming company but think if it was put on iPod. It would be like pocket legends or star legends.

No wonder we can't walk over the mushrooms. Anyways, I would love for some of the 3D Zelda Games to be remade with the type of graphics in the Minish Cap.

Zelda Ocarina of time -> 2D HD Zelda Ocarina of time for the iTouch. Sadly we will never see that unless Nintendo will really create AppStore apps.

That was done back in 2005 when gpu's weren't nearly as powerful as they are now, and directx9 was still very new. Anyways there were a lot of complaints about lag so they abandoned it.

IMO those games don't offer anything special and are huge pay to win messes. You can buy things that temporarily make you 4x stronger in armor, damage, and exp gain, and only with real money. Graal would be amazing in 3d, but wouldn't work as well because graphics are much easier to make in 2d than 3d. Not many people know how to make 3d models, and that would limit on community content like hats.

The only thing i would pretty much see if Nintendo are ever making apps is a port of the DS version of Four swords adventures (that free nintendo game)

I remember playing Graal3D once and it was awful. like, really bad. glad they scrapped it. Graal shouldn't be 3D, half the attractiveness of Graal is the 2D graphics.

3D to 2D = Back to the Future (telltale game) would be nice as a 2d oldschool point and click adventure game
2D to 3D = Final Fantasy VI (6)

My 3D to 2D choice would be Demon Souls, or Dark Souls.
My 2D to 3D choice would be Game & Watch. (I would find it amusing.)
