New 3D Movies Are Terrible

Have you ever gone to one of those newer 3D movies where you put on those 3D glasses that look like sunglasses? I believe it's called IMAX. The 3D for them is just awful. You're pretty much paying a higher price to see the movie in sunglasses. Everything these days just seems lower quality at a higher price. Anyways what do you guys think of the IMAX 3D movies?

I agree. Even the 3D movies in Legoland like 10 years ago have been more awesome.

Yeah I see what you mean. Like it's barely even 3D but more of a Placebo effect. Nowadays it looks like they barely stick their finger out of the screen and try to pass it off as 3D.

100% agree. I'd find it less painful hanging upside down on a bar for a couple of hours than sit through one of those "movies" again.

3D isn't my thing. It really hurts my eyes, (I never use 3D mode on my 3DS - still great btw) and I'm glad to see I'm not alone in this.

When I watched Avatar 3D with my mum she was like "Wooooaaaah awesome" and I was like "Wooooaaaaah she saw anything 3D?"

Lol. I love the 3D movies I saw at I think it was Cedar Point? Anyways they had water squirt out at you and wind blow at you and the 3D looked awesome and you wore the actual 3D glasses. Those are the kind of 3D movies I would pay to see.

IMAX are the special theatres with a surround image, I think. The new 3D is just called Real3D. I'm too jumpy for 3D movies anyways, I keep my glasses halfway off my face most of the time.
