Sorry friend, but you can either choose to receive gralats OR all reskins/recolours of an item. Not both :0(  

How long does it usually take to receive the confirmation email?  

I have a question since the OP is a little unclear. Submissions close today but when will players be contacted if their submissions get accepted?

Guess I won’t bother submitting anything again. I was told that one or more of my submissions was accepted and now all of a sudden I get an email telling me that it was a mix up. I’d love to know how something like this could happen and what the reason for suddenly turning around and rejecting them is. If it’s something like copyright reasons then that’s just hilarious seeing as are different enough to what they’re based off of to be considered copy written material and I’ve seen countless other items added to the game which are much worse offenders. This has been two christmases now where something stupid has gone wrong with something I’ve submitted and it leaves a pretty sour taste in my mouth. Not gonna lie.

I've heard from people that they received the same email. If anything it just is not fair to get someone's hopes up with the acceptance of a hat to later be denied. Not only is it unfair but it is also unprofessional. This has caused a lot of confusion amongst those who have received rejection emails after the acceptance ones. Acceptance emails should not have been sent out until everything was confirmed.  

Yeah really weird situation and should never happen. I want an explanation about this whole thing and I hope they don’t just push it under the rug and stay silent. It has really put me off of even logging in this Christmas. Getting a submission accepted (even if it was made by someone else for me) is still a huge deal and having that just taken away sucks.

I actually had the chance to talk to Xenethes on graal earlier and the explanation as to what I was given for why people were receiving rejection emails was for "copyrighted or stolen content". This information might not relate to what happened in your situation. A friend of mine and I are going through the same frustrations and confusion as you are with receiving an acceptance email and then a rejection one. Sadly enough we will probably never receive a full explanation on the reason as to why.

It truly makes me mad in the aspect that I spent 350k to max out on gifts to not even get the hat my friend made.

Also, I would like to say that there is still uncertainty in if you submitted more than one hat if all your hats were denied or not. As no one really knows what exactly was accepted or rejected. There could still be hope if you received the rejection email. Just tryna put a little bit of positivity in this situation.

The ones which were made for me are what I assume got denied because they ARE based on something but I’ve shown a lot of people the hats and they all agree that they are not exact recreations and are different enough to not be seen as such. Some of those people have been a part of the graphics team in the distant and close past. I don’t get why they can’t talk to the people who are in this situation and try sorting it out instead of just pulling the trigger and leaving it at that.

I really wish we could get better answers as well. As for me, what I submitted was animal-related which I have no idea on why that would be copyrighted. At this point, there is sadly not much we can do but be disappointed. I hope you end up finding some sort of answer as to why your submission was denied.

Sorry to hear about your submissions. Maybe they thought they were “stolen” content? If that was the case with my hats then I can easily provide a screenshots I was sent through discord showing the process of them being created and even when I first came up with the idea for them. But welll, I’ll assume that I’ll never hear anything personally about this and it’ll be pushed under the rug. I know it’s not much but I won’t be hopping on graal for this Christmas or any time soon now and these are the last things I’ll be submitting because it’s clear that there’s just no point in it anymore and I’d rather be saved from looking at this years recolour hell. I’m sure other people probably feel the same way too.
