Sounds like a **** show. I didn’t even get a accepted or denied email and my stuff was fairly good quality. O well not like it matters I was quitting anyways. I just feel bad for everyone else.

That’s REALLY surprising to hear. Wow.  

Nothing better than starting off Christmas Eve with a rejection letter... wasn’t even told which hats made it in, if there were any. What an absolute disappointment.

Hey guys just checking in - no subs from my side due to above mentioned shenanigans happening annually for years. ... Not wasting my time.


I noticed there's no mention of specific timings per region for gift opening this year. Are we all gonna crash the server?  

Love me some radio silence. Well I’ve uninstalled seeing as my favourite holiday in the game has turned into whatever this is. Was a fun ride I guess.

It really has collapsed. Two gift types , down from an original 8 (counting regular and super gifts of tough,
cool, cute, and smart back in the day).

Majority of gift rewards went from being hats and random furniture to being food and gralats (notably less than half the amount invested in the gift itself).

Somehow secret Santa and gift stalls just vanished on the 24th... Literally the biggest purchase day of the year.

Fewer and more questionable player submissions getting accepted (I got cat ears hat and an all black sunglasses accessory. Probably took about 10 minutes to draw both collectively, and the glasses are still only fitted to some heads, pretty sad).

I had intended this year to give out gralats instead of buying gifts, particularly because the gifts last year were so disappointing. That got nixed by removing the ability to farm and give others gralats.

For real, though - what's up with flash end of life? Gonna kill off like a third of the player base if this impacts the web based client.

I didn’t know about any of this, including the removal of gift stalls or secret santa closing earlier. All I can say is one big “yikes”. Also regarding the death of flash, I’m pretty sure the WebGL client they introduced whenever ago was the solution for that but the last time I used it, it was still riddled with issues.  

Haha how did they F this up so bad.  

Me sitting here with no accepting or reject letter ._. I submitted it on the day of the deadline wouldn't be surprised if they just decided "eh let's not check the ones that were submitted just in time"

Seeing as this thread went from getting frequent responses from whoever was in charge to dead silence after my first complaint, I wouldn’t get your hopes up about anything. Would surprise me if all of these comments were removed for being off topic either.  

A couple things:

1. The ones saying they're done will be at it again next year
2. This isn't a proffesional staff. These gfx team memebers were you guys yesterday
3. These gfx team members have absolute 0 power when it comes to major decisions
4. The one person that can address any of this has absolutley 0 f's to give about you complainers
