Hello Graalians!

As Spooky Season quickly approaches, Classic invites everyone to participate in our annual player-submitted Halloween graphics competition! Your theme is, of course, Halloween!



As always, the rules are as follows:

1. NO copyright infringement.
2. Keep things appropriate (i.e. nothing obscene, inappropriate, or controversial in nature)
3. DO NOT use pure black (#000000) or pure white (#ffffff). If you use these colors, they will become transparent in-game.
4. You may submit multiple items.
5. Please only create 4 recolours/reskins in total; if more are submitted and accepted, the colours that are added in-game and to your account will be chosen at random. If you choose the gralat reward, you will only receive the gralats worth for one hat or item (10'000/5'000,) and no additional gralats for recolours.
6. All submissions must utilize one of the provided templates. Custom sized morphs, mounts, furniture, etc. will not be allowed.
7. All submission must be .png file format. Any other file formats (ex. .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, etc.) will not be accepted.
8. No edits of existing content.
9. If you collaborate on art with anyone, only one person can receive rewards.
10. Do not submit items you have submitted or plan to submit on other GraalOnline servers.
11. All graphics must be tested using the provided link below. If your item(s) do not fit or appear broken on Graal, they will not be accepted.
12. Accessories will not be allowed for this event.

As for the rewards, players whose submissions are accepted will receive a reward of either 10,000 Gralats (for more complex items i.e hats, mounts, etc.) or 5,000 (for simpler items i.e bouncy balls, pogos, etc.) OR the submission(s) added to their account.

If you're interested in participating, you can upload your graphics to an image hosting site (such as Imgur.com) and email the links to [email protected] - title the email "Classic Halloween 2021" and include your preference reward, as well as your Graal ID (which can be found in your feedback menu in-game,) and a preferred display name for if your item is featured on display in the Candy Shop; if no preferred name is given, your current username will be used.
Submissions are open from October 1st to October 25th!
All player-submitted items will appear inside the Candy Shop in Old Deadwood!

Questions and comments can be asked in this thread, although please use this progress thread for receiving or giving constructive criticism.

I’d like to place big emphasis on this, because even if your submission is really nice we cannot spend the time to fix big errors while sorting through them all. You can post on the progress thread too that will be created for help. Can’t wait to see what you guys create!

Are you sure you’re using the template correctly? Ive never had issues.

Hey there! If you're having a hard time using the accessory template, here's the tutorial on how to use them from Coco. I'll also link Dusty's graphics testing site here again as well so you'll be able to test your graphics! :0) Hope this helps <3  

Why haven’t we gotten new morph templates  

Wishing gifs were acceptable I had a really cool idea for a flying bat mount :,(  

Accessories still have a 1 or 2 pixel shift when moving left on mount... we'd been told it was resolved and would be fine once cache was refreshed a year or two back but it's still there.  

Still waiting on more of them item templates damn it’s like the same every year

Are you sure you’re using the template correctly? Ive never had issues.

The template doesn't have issues; the game itself isn't optimized for the template.

Yesyes, thank you very much for all this help -- fix how the template works in the game. I rest you assured the below frame doesn't work in-game; you can check it on your own stuff (I myself have confirmed it on your bat wings).

I also have asked Leepot whether staff are aware of it; surprisingly, he (and Dusty) knew about this bug.
