Lol bryson, you can see me too xD Also I think it's great andrew. Adding images would be a really cool feature. That way you can share photos with other people rather then having to say " look at gp".

Add the avatars head for the previous messages. That way you have the option of clicking on them, and private messaging them.  

Agreed.  

It does look weird yet because I am not used to it right now but I do see something awesome in this.
And regarding the smilies: Why wont you just add another option to toggle the smilies on the clientside?

How do you plan to attach songs? You can simply send the YouTube link which would be less laggy I gues.  

I dont like it. mabye more spaced out or like the past message sent is regular and the one you receive is bold
