Advise for Quests
A Proper Quest Well I'm making this because honestly iClassic staff don't seem to understand how to make a proper quest and instead of sitting in my room ragin bout it I will project my voice! -So the first thing is quests shouldn't be a brainless task. They should require some sort of though process and shouldn't be things like "That baddy is an ass kill him and I will give you cash" They should involve thinking and effort, something like a riddle that makes you use your head. -Second longer doesn't mean better, it is actually usually worse. I'm posting this mainly because of that exciting maze quest. I'm gonna be honest it was absolutely awful, it was a real chore to do. Wander in a maze for a few hours, get a transformation. Same thing with April 18th's daily quest, collect 75 Eyepatchs. Come on this breaks rule 1 too. -Third and Finally make the NPC's involved in the quests seem like actual people, the maze quest attempted this but it didn't really work out. A great example for this is Majoras Mask, it really accomplishes this in their quests. The main key to this is to throw emotion in the characters and don't make them seem so robotic. Hope this helped ![]() Mr.$imons |
