The problem with an 'egg display' is that in a while they will all be rotten. You could loot some 'rotten easter eggs' and pretend

Wish it was a bit more than the mount. Not that the mount isn't good, would have just liked maybe a gani or hat along with it.

What I think is a good idea for next year(s), is giving people the chance to complete it 2 or 3 times. The prizes after completing the first time don't have to be big but I think people will still try to get an extra hat or so. Right now you see alot of people try hard to finish as fast as possible and then get bored.

Then there's folks like me who didn't like the mount and are just collecting eggs to throw at people later in the year... Stretch the event out so everyone has a chance to get it done if they want to
