Im gonna retract my previous statement of "playable" to just "runnable". why? 1) runes dont work, so the first (tutorial dungeon magnetic ability doesn't, so you are stuck in the start area unless you find a save from beyond that point, so no "playable" would imply you can play-through the entire game, 2) as long as the average frame per seconds doesn't continuously crap out to 4 or below i dont really care. (you can see where it craps out in the video below) 3) water physics non-existent, fish flap around on the bottom of a pit, link can walk along the bottom like there is no water. 4) chest unlock cut-scene after clearing out an encampment, doesn't exit, so you have to restart. 5) after deleting my preexisting cache from earlier version of it, light rays effects started acting really strange. (which you can see in the video below) heres a video, i threw together in an hour, i really should have used better capture software, but i'm lazy Btw i didn't monetize this one, because its automatically monetized by Nintendo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noX70YUghXg |

Dusty officially beat the game (just defeated calamity ganon), but i didn't watch cause i didn't want to spoil it for myself. He's still gonna try to find all the shrines and stuff though. Just a little disappointed I guess that the side quests aren't more....worth while? Like every side quest basically just gives you rupees or some pointless item (like food or ores or whatever). Just feels like once you finish the main story quest line the game pretty much doesn't have much of a point to it other than trying to find all the shrines. Like for instance, in Skyrim all the side quest have like...some kind of story to them. They aren't just quick request some random people have that rewards you with money. I guess I can't complain too much since it is Nintendo's first open-world game and it was still extremely addictive and fun nonetheless. I was just hoping it would be kinda like Skyrim where it feels like it doesn't really have an end and the stories just keep going and going. Not that I wanted it to be Skyrim, just wanted it to have the same kind of feel that Skyrim gives you expect with the Zelda lore and style. It kinda feels like when you finish binge watching a TV show now. Just so empty But then again there is DLC that I am excited for. Though it's not coming out until like fall.... |
