true; last season was 4 months and sarah had 8000 wins lol.  

Which is why I said "in general", and which is also why I said that pps doesn't matter.
It's not even the amount of wins, just saying that I sparred a lot of nubs for those 279 wins in order to get to 20k, and I still ended up with one of the highest pps.

As I said, pps doesn't prove anything. It only shows who is selective sparring.  

So my statement that if you spar in a large quantity, your PPS will average out around 10-12 PPS remains true, then...

If I were to try and go for top 3 for the season, then yeah, you are pretty much forced to spar low ratio players.

If it's top 30 or something though, keeping a high pps is pretty easy. I haven't sparred in months though, so maybe my judgement isn't correct.

well thats what I saw. That blue npc guy was spanking that butt pretty bad.

I was reading the previous pages about better ways to determine a players tier and it hit me.

Why doesn't the spar community come together as a whole (well a majority) and chooses a day and time where all the good sparrers will be sparring in the main streak room. I'm sure anybody that can go on a 10 win streak against the top sparers in classic would easily make his way to the legendary tier. Once that tier is done, a date and time can be chosen for the platinum tier.

Advo, surg, mex, sophie and mish could make the plat tier.  

should be more tiers or something, seems really suspect to put primetime, kevin, ares on the same level as contego (no offense). seems even more suspect to put abood above all of those players.

would also like to add that inactive players shouldn't be ranked because there is no way to accurately place them, you don't see them sparring. haze has sparred less than me over the past year (which is very low) and i ain't ranked (don't rank me please). gold for haze is disrespectful, no rank would be better.  

found haze on my friends list, added him to fill up the space to show golds the majority.
