This is because all the CS professors don't know what they're doing. Legitimately, without exaggerating. I'll probably end up sticking it out, maybe taking an out of state internship through my college. I'm still thinking of my options |

I have some people at my job that simply just worked for Apple stores as Programmars making bank now where I work and they didnt finish college or even went. They knew what they were doing and had a background of programming. Makes me want to be more into programming since today era it is where the job is mainly at. I hope you don't forget about us and I would say if you know a place that is hiring that you know will make you good enough money at the time just do it and drop out of school. While you build up your background start looking for better places or drama places you always wanted to work at. I know you will do great I believe you scrub. |

It seems like you've done some thinking and figured out where your mind is at, but I only ask of you to do one thing, and that's to not rush anything. As millennials, we grow up in a culture without patience that, obviously, teaches us to be impatient. And that makes us to want everything now, rather than patiently wait for it to be earned overtime through hard work and charisma. Don't quit your entry level job right away because you aren't "making a difference." Rushing your ambition is what separates the greats from the not-so-greats. It comes in time, so don't rush it. One day you will be great, and although we only have 100 years to live, that day is not today. I know you pretty well from what you've said and shared with us and I've seen what you can do. It'd be a shame to lose someone with your talents due to the society we had no choice but to grow up in. |
