Yeah, I remember I think in 2010-2011 every patch of grass in your farm would have a gralat spawn on it, then in late 2011 or early 2012 they updated it and gralats wouldn't spawn on every patch, but the increase rate was much higher... And then they changed it back and now its super slow to make anything from farming. Recently it took me at least an hour to make one gralat red... I'd be greatful for a 5% increase lol.

Has become? Gralat spawning was never changed, and it scales up with player count. There is no way it could have "slowed down."

An "optimization" change made a couple years ago severly hurt gralat spawn rates in inside areas. It was probably unintentional, what it did was make players/npcs only load if they're in view in inside areas(previously on non gmap single levels it did it for the whole level), so if your afking in the water at the fan you no longer are helping others farm. it literally went from making like 15-20k an hour to 2-3k an hour since you need to be near the spawn location for it to help the rates.
