A defensive wall is a fortification used to protect a city, town or other settlement from potential aggressors. In ancient to modern times, they were used to enclose settlements.

most "skilled" sparrers have quit sparring so now new sparrers emulate the best current sparrers and almost all of the best current sparrers are boring and defensive wallers
this isn't MLG but in every game there is a meta and the meta is decided by the best players and the players around them just copy what they do and expect the same results

that's just my guess, but I don't spar enough anymore to really know - not gonna be one of those nerds who say "SPARRING IS DEAD XD" just because I don't enjoy ir right now
sometimes I feel like sparring, but I enter the room and see the queue then just observe the people sparring and conclude that it won't be fun even if I were streak 500

I doubt it will change - with Graal being a global mobile game and only having a single server based in the US, it only makes sense that delayers will represent a large portion of the playerbase
maybe Graal will grow large enough in these demographics and eventually there will be a GraalOnline Classic NA and GraalOnline Classic EU

I agree, I never brag about being experienced in the area of sparring, I don't have 10k or anything to brag about besides being in 5 gsts with a quarter-finals finish 3 times, I walk into the mixed room which in my opinion is the only room I generally like, I see a 12 man que all European apart from primetime and maybe some old snc guys + a few war blokes and they end up leaving because of the delay you come up against.

It leaves you with 3 sides to strike your opponent whereas he can strike you from 4 sides, they also wait until you rush them so they can just sword spam whatever position you're running towards.

What is sword spamming?

Repeatedly slashing your sword by tapping the sword icon or hitting 's' or 'spacebar' (depends if you use a PC and what button layout you prefer).
