I would advise seeing if the CPU fan is spinning while the PC is on. If it isn't, then replace it. if it is spinning, try replacing the thermal paste. I wouldn't be so sure that its a dead motherboard, if the CPU was running at 100C+ there's a good chance that the CPU died. |

---------------- Took it to HP... it was a Dead Mobo afterall.They returned half of my cash back without any offer of replacing the rig.-_- Now,i got a Dell Optilex 360. --------------- REQS: CPU:intel core2duo 3.0GHZ~3.06GHZ CASE:Some Dell branded ATX Tower Case (i had a Damned Desktop before.) PSU:Some ****ty branded PSU of about 300W ---------- Turns out execpt for my Processor,all of the **** was worthless...2Gigs of RAM dead,MOBO was dead,PSU was dead. Now im sitting without a RAM which sucks... Ill try getting 2x2Gigs of Ballastix soon. |

I have a Laptop which i never got along with.......it gets the job done. I just like buying PCs... test them... do a little benchmarking...or probably keep some parts and then Sell the whole system to get a new one.Lol Im collecting for a HD7750 or a 7770 now. |
