That movie was damn good Loved it, Alot of people are bashing it because "Disney" owns "Star Wars" but honestly I feel like they did a really good job with it, Can't wait for the rest of em.
I liked the movie, however (don't continue unless you have seen it, 100% spoilers/ kinda a review

Ok so basically it follows the exact same formula as episode 4... The chick ren, rye, red, whatever, she is basically luke with the force power discovery, han solo acts as the father figure (ben kenobi) and makes the ultimate sacrifice trying to save their loved one (kenobi dying for vader, han solo dying for his son), both involve the giant super weapon, (deathstar and planet death star) that initiate the conflict by blowing up a significant planet (alderaan in a new hope, corosaunt/the republic in awakening) and they literally both end the same way, with the same pilot from episode 4 shooting into the weakspot thus blowing up the deathstar or in awakening, the planet).
I also felt like the silver storm trooper (forgot the name) was very, VERY underused, only appears in 2 scenes and you never see her in combat and is basically humiliated.
The comedy was nice but honestly felt kind of unexpected/ out of place for starwars since apart from the han solo humour there really wasn't any to this extent.
As a villian I felt kylo ren to be pretty unintimidating, I mean vader had the suit, the sound, the mystery, kylo ren is just a wanna be sith who threw baby fits (presumably because he has an unfortunate gap in his front teeth) and it felt especially odd when they gave him some of those comedic responses.
The finn character I didn't mind, he was fairly entertaining but i'll admit, I was expecting him to be the one with the force and not the chick since he had the saber in all the trailers.
The saber fight scene was probably one of the best saber scenes in any of the star wars movies.
But yea finally, the only thing I found kinda weird was the ending when the chick found luke, and they had that awkward stare contest whilst she held her saber out to him for about 2mins with them both just staring at each other. Maybe say hi? And there was also very little mourning for han solo.
I'd have thought the ex captain of the rebels, husband of the princess and friend of luke skywalker would get more than just a few dry tears from leia and a chewbuca kill spree, like idk maybe a funeral? Or show luke hearing about it. I mean when they landed after saving the day it seemed like the ren/ryn/rice/red chick was more upset about han dying than anyone else, you could even see chewbucca celebrating in the background with the other rebels whilst leia and rin chick were hugging.
YES I KNOW I'M CRITICAL. I have seen a lot of movies and it's just something I do.
TLDR; the movie was good, worth the hype and watch but it wasn't perfect

Honestly when you put it that way I guess it did have some flaws but so did the other Star Wars films prior to that, I was kind of pissed off that they did little mourning for Han Solo since he was apart of The Rebellion ages ago and that whole Luke and Rey scene kinda had me like uh okay at least say something to leave it as a cliff hanger to give us an idea of how the next one is going to start but I mean I still got chills seeing that scene,It did remind me of "A New Hope" it had a lot of similarities but I think J.J. Abrams might surprise us with the next two films, And who knos maybe Finn will be a Jedi also,Atleast I hope so I mean I'd like to see him fight along side with Rey especially since they've made him look that way in the trailers, And the chromed up captain storm trooper was Captain Phasma
