Ya, Dearly Beloved is amazing. Soundtrack from Shadow of the Colossus is a masterpiece. I can listen to nearly every song on the OST and enjoy it, and it's even better in game. This song... starts as soon as you start climbing a Colossus. Really pulls the scale of everything together: This is just amazing to sit and listen to from start to finish: Then you have the ending that plays as the camera flies around the Land: Bastion also had an amazing soundtrack. I have all of the songs in my playlist, and I never really skip any of them. I mean honestly, my playlist is full of video game music... I could keep going and going. I mean there are obvious amazing songs out there from your typical games like Zelda and Mario. Though I will say while I do enjoy most music from Nintendo, one song that I really love is the Skyward Sword Ballad: Oh, can't forget Okami! Also can't forget this from SMBG2! |

Literally anything by Nobuo Uematsu or Yasunori Mitsuda qualifies as the best. Their songs are filled with feels. Listen to all of these feels. Ending theme, sounds infinitely better when you've just completed the game: A lot of FF7's songs are very dark and theme and seem depressing but after you've played through the game you can relisten to the OST and basically experience everything again through the music and remember what it felt like to progress through the game, hnggg. The feel when you spend like five hours grinding through Midgar and you realize it's only a small part of the game and there is an entire world for you to explore: Sephiroth, why you cry after reading so many books?
