I wouldn't recommend getting Gold Membership unless you want to Develop. Most servers can be played with an F2P account. (Well, main servers that most people play on, that is.)

Hmm, that all depends who you talk to. Alot of the people i talk to on Graal Classic are roughly the same age, (anywere from 15-19). But for the most part, the only servers on PC that have a decent player count are Zodiac, Era, and Unholy nations, which are not my taste at all. There are probably some other servers that have a decent player count, but i'm completely content playing iClassic. As for devolopement and such, i occasionally practice LAT and GFX, but both are skills in which you do not need a gold account for. Also, it just seems silly to jump into a world of dying servers just for some "intellectual discussion".

As I said, most of the iPhone servers have a player base of people less than the age of 8-9, which means that there's constant idiocy around you, and I find it very irritating. These people just don't understand how to act without their mothers around to tell them what to do.
And when I mentioned "intellectual discussion", I really meant a conversation with proper English in it.  

Bboy is correct, your fine just using a free account. The only things you cant do is spam pms and change your head. So yer... There are 2 free play servers atm, and a 3rd might be comming soon. So no it's not worth buying a pc membership. Also be sure to check out classic on pc it's pretty killer!

The thing is, those iPhone servers with a decent player count, have a player base which consists mostly of people under the age of 8-9, which doesn't make for very good conversation in my opinion, and their actions are severely annoying at times. Sorry to anyone within this age range, but that's just the observation I've made from my time playing on iPhone servers.

In retrospect, PC servers consist of players that are much older in most cases, and I feel I get on with them far better than any player on an iPhone server, minus a few individuals. However, this may just be me, seeing as I'm a bit older than most iPhone server players I've talked to.

So, in my opinion, if you're looking for decent conversation and intellectual beings (once again, minus a few people), then a gold subscription is worth buying. If you want to develop on Graal, it'd be a good idea to buy a gold subscription as well, unless you want to become an LAT or GAT, then you can probably manage without a gold subscription for the meantime.

Seems as if you're judging the WHOLE game there is a plentiful amount of people aged 15-19 like yephen said guilds play a part in it to the only 9 year olds i can find are the guys by burger refuge or middle of graal city (unstuck me place) my point is theres alot of smart,talented and creative people on graal instead of wasting money on pc why don't you go talk to the "9 year olds" get to know them and try to have a good conversation together. I honestly don't understand your the educated adult here stop throwing out this 9 year old garbage and teach the 9 year old stuff you are after all part of a diffirent generation who else do you think "9 year olds" turn to yeah thats right their elders if you truly are an adult start acting like one.

Did I offend you in any way? No need to get all *****y about a point that I was stating, and start to offend my intellect. You need to wise up, and stop trying to start an argument. In no way whatsoever did I set out to offend anyone, and in places where I did say something that might have been offensive, I stated that it was my opinion, and may not be exactly true, plus I did mention that a few people in the younger generation of players were not this way. I was merely posting my observation, which is obviously biased, but it's just the way I see the iPhone servers.
Plus, I have talked to a lot of the "younger generation", and I haven't had a meaningful conversation with one of them yet.  

Why is every thread a arguement now?  

It's the cool thing to do on the forums.

I can't believe you fit that into two sentences. Are you 9? Because you seem pretty defensive, just sayin...  

I've played it for over 6 years, and, I think it's getting a lil' repetitive, on the other hand, for new players it could be fun

No, and it never again will be. It wasn't worth buying from the start when they introduced the monthly payment model. When it was a one-time thing, it was perfect.

I'm working work Ruxxter/a few other friends with the gServer 1.39 source code, modifying it and changing some things and they we're going to launch that, independently run and separate from the current failures of Graal. It'll probably be small (20-30 people at the highest times) and used only by sparrers because I'm planning to host the second EGSL there.  

No, it's not worth it..  

Not worth it. I suggest staying on the iPhone servers...
