Most new players start out in missions anyways. You could always join mission one and help them get to level 3 if you are that worried ;)  

Before the ER beamer was nerfed (dmg lowered, slow rof, and made semi-auto). It was still hard to complete a mission. It took me over 10 minutes to destroy a power station. With constant healing and ammo refill. It'll take the player atleast a week to reach level 3 doing missions constantly.  

Am I the only one who still has trouble doing missions alone even with the best guns, lol? Not like I play the missions much anyway.

Nope, you're not alone. Stefan thinks all missions are easy and wants bigger maps with more baddies though. Who would've guessed...

Which is why you find a squad/group of friends to do them with. I think this is the problem with beginners struggling. I mean, experienced players kind of reject them.
